My Story
Hello, my name is Beth Poulson and this is my story...I have been in direct sales for many years and since have quit for either extreme boredom or the company being bought out, just an overall lack of interest from family and friends. Maybe deep down I was really looking for a company that I could put my heart and soul into and finally establish the business, I have been longing for...In July of 2011, I visited a festival in Delta, Ohio, and as always, walked through the vendors tent. I came upon a Scentsy consultant and very openly stated, "tell me about your product!" I was very interested in the concept and loved the idea that it did not put toxins on your walls and was safe for children and pets. Immediately I stated that I wanted to book a show and the consultant relunctantly took my information. I repeated several times, "please call me" and she said that she would. (she did not know that I was in direct sales before) I went home and waited for her to respond. In early August, I started receiving emails from her but no phone calls. I figured hey, if she really wanted my booking, she would call me, right? She never called.In the middle of September, my ex-husband's niece instant messaged me, "ever heard of Scentsy?" I chuckled and told her my story. I then quickly booked a show and held it on October 8, 2011 but what I didn't say is, I signed to become a Scentsy consultant on October 7th, after many talks with my sponsor, Cheryl Sanders, whom I have known since she was a little girl. Our paths separated some years ago.Scentsy has done two major things for me... first and most important, allowed me to re-connect with someone that is very important to me and secondly, gave me the oportunity to join a fabulous company that I have been looking for. I believe that I have longed to be in direct sales, just finding the right company, makes all the difference, THANKS SCENTSY!
